Green is not only a color. It is a temperature, a patience, a particular quality of light that exists between summer and shadow. It is the color of things still becoming.

Pascal Küng

@summerwashedout
Switzerland

Pascal Küng is a Swiss photographer based near Zurich. He came to analog photography in 2022, drawn by a warmth and haze he had long been chasing in his digital work — an aesthetic he traces back to his years photographing the local music scene and the music of an artist called Washed Out. Since making the switch, he has developed a signature style: soft, warm, and deliberately unhurried. His work spans landscapes and portraits, always searching for the stillness and subtle emotion that arise when you stop, slow down, and listen.

Interview — Issue 01

Issue 01 features a full interview with Pascal Küng — covering his approach to landscapes and portraits, his film choices, and the philosophy of warmth and patience behind his work.
